Despite years of overlap across multiple walks of life, and even being in the same rooms more than once, Caroline and Yossi somehow never really met, or so they thought. When a friend described Caroline to Yossi at a conference and asked if he might know someone worthy of Caroline, he quickly decided to throw his own hat in the ring.

Their first dinner lasted four hours, filled with easy conversation, laughter, and the sense maybe this was meant to be.

As they got to know each other, they discovered a shared love of the water, travel, family, and sweets, Caroline making them, Yossi happily eating them, and, most importantly, a shared value of finding joy wherever possible.

Later, they realized they had crossed paths before: a quick handshake at a conference in Cayman, almost meeting in Tel Aviv, and countless near misses along the way.

It was worth the wait.
